Malachi MC - Emcee / Sound Engineer

Malachi is a 25 year old Coffs Coast based Emcee who bounced into the Australian Hip Hop scene as a solo artist in 2009 dropping his first Mixtape "Lyrical Expression" and also joined the Reverb Tour supporting Spit Syndicate, Phatchance & Mind Over Matter.

Since then he has linked up with local Hip Hop act Mid North Collaboration, doing several shows around NSW with other acts on the bill including Australian Hip Hop Pioneer Morganics, Chance Waters, Coptic Soldier Tycotic and British India to name a few.
He also released his second Mixtape titled "Time Stands Still" and has been working hard on his Exclusive Debut LP "I NEED CHANGE" due out this year which features Collaborations with UK producer Grimz Beats, Mid North Coast Singer/Songwriter Lisa Butcher & MC Dukebox "winner of the 2011 Gadigal Emerging Indigenous Artist Competition" and also features Mixing and Mastering by Chance Waters & Sage Audio.

He has recently finished his Diploma of Sound Production at Grafton Contemporary Music Centre.
Winning an award of excellence in Sound Production in 2011. and is also running a small Mastering business "Mid North Mixing" for upcoming Hip Hop Artists.
