Bio

mammalsmusic.bandcamp.com to listen!!! Guy Brown is Mammals. Hailing from Sydney's sunny northern beaches, Guy began writing and recording as Mammals in 2011, producing music that walks effortlessly through the realms of folk, electronica and indie rock. Mammals first single 'Move Slower' brought Guy to the attention of the good folk at triple j who awarded him Unearthed “Artist Of The Week”. The win saw Guy perform at the 2013 Laneway Festival. Since then, Mammals also scored the support act with Of Monsters and Men on their Australian Tour. Constantly writing and recording, you can expect to hear a lot of exciting new music from Mammals over the coming months.

Gets close to being a total winner, but just falls short. Still, you get the feeling that striking greatness is only a matter of time for this guy. Or should I say Guy.

At first I was expecting just another acoustic indie folk track - instead I was greeted with a song with the same level of emotion and beauty I would expect from someone like Bon Iver. My only problem with "Carried" is there wasn't enough of it!
