Bio

Mammals is the indie/electronica/folk project masterminded by Australian singer/producer/multi-instrumentalist Guy Brown. Debut EP ‘Animalia’ shot Mammals into notoriety, clocking up over 6 million plays on Spotify via word of mouth alone, alongside tours with Of Monsters & Men and triple j support for singles ‘Circles’ and ‘Carried’.

Having composed and produced music for Advertising and Film for many years, burnt out over the city lifestyle, Guy felt the urge to reignite his creativity. Quitting his full-time job and relocating to the small coastal town of Mollymook, Brown embarked on a year of world travel and songwriting to piece together what became his soundtrack to escapism.

Following an interim collaboration with Goldroom with single ’Til Sunrise’ (amassing 9 million streams) and a placement of ‘Depraved’ on the season finale of ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ (US), Mammals is now poised to emerge from hibernation and unleash brand new material in 2017.

apologies for sounding cliche but this is a gorgeous coastal breeze. it's perfectly chilled, it might rear up here and there but it's never not a welcome addition to the general face region.

Gets close to being a total winner, but just falls short. Still, you get the feeling that striking greatness is only a matter of time for this guy. Or should I say Guy.
