Artist:Mantist

Mantist is a South Sudanese Australian's producer, hip-hop/spoken word performer. Mantist has studied sound and film at SAE/Qantm College Brisbane, Australia in 2011. In 2007, Mantist has formed a hip-hop crew called No Pain No Gain (NPNG) Crew with his fellow South Sudanese rapper (G-Gay) whom Mantist has met in a Taekwondo classes. The two rappers have performed together from 2007 to early 2009 until G-Jay moved to a different state due to personal circumstances. Mantist continue as a solo artist and has released his first EP album “Out of Poverty into the Glory” toward the end of 2009, which consist of 10 tracks. The EP album sold 1000 printed copies and 350 digital sales in the first year. The productions of the album were fully funded by Access Arts. In the beginning of 2011, Mantist has formed forces with his fellow South Sudanese Australian and long time friend, Bolo.
