The core of Mantracoda was formed in 2012, after front man singer/songwriter Jake Brookes united forces with multi-instrumentalist Andrea Murray. The original concept of the band was to have a central core grounded in acoustic instrumentation, whilst allowing other musicians to come and go, collaborating on various projects to take to the people. With guitar, flute, vox and percussion, the core duo has already released four singles and an EP called 'Soundunes' and have recently finished their first LP entitled 'Door to Amaze' to be officially released later in the year. Veranda will be the first single released from the LP this weekend, while they prepare for up and coming gigs. Mantracoda hopes to tour Australia once their LP is rolling and share what they have created with the Australian people. Stay tuned...
