Sydney-based songstress Gabby Huber is well known to Australia's larger music community for her previous endeavours as a band member, touring and playing abroad as a keyboardist and vocalist. Now, after spending several years quietly and carefully crafting her solo sound, she is stepping into the world as Maples. 'Stars' is the debut single from Maples and the first to be lifted from her forthcoming album. There's no other status or emotion that throws an artist into a mode of creation like heartache, and 'Stars' is the product of just that: a song about suppression and the yearning to overcome, break free, and finally soar.
