Artist:Marcus McFly

Hailing from the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide, Marcus McFly began his journey with music in 2004 at the age of 10 writing rhymes over instrumentals. Mainly being influenced by Eminem & the Notorious B.I.G. while growing up, Marcus got a taste for story telling and deep lyrics, learning early on that the realest Hip-Hop comes from the heart. McFly has supported both local and international artists, including Busdriver, Louis Logic, Ceschi, Reason, Briggs, Anecdote and Delta, just to name a few. The biggest show to date was when Marcus was asked to perform at the Carols by Candlelight event at Elder Park at the end of 2013, which was attended by over 30,000 people. In 2014 he began mentoring at the Northern Sound System, helping run Hip-Hop programs for the youth in his community such as 'Delta & Motion's Hip-Hop School' - where aspiring emcees could get help writing and recording their first tracks.
