Matt Tinkler, AKA Martiln, is an electronic musician from Melbourne, Australia. With a constantly evolving and varied sound, Martiln blends elements from a wide array of different musical genres into lush, deep and emotional tracks, that take the listener on a sound-driven journey. 2016 saw Martiln complete his Bachelor of Music, release his first EP and single, as well as write one new track a week for 52 weeks straight as part of Weekly Beats 2016. This challenge saw him write electronic music in a wide variety of different genres, whilst still managing to maintain his unique sound. His debut single and collaboration with New Zealand-based musician Gala Morris titled ‘Home’, released in November 2016. In 2017, Martiln released a range of remixes and collaborations with both local and international artists, including Melbourne-based singer-songwriter ‘Spectoral’ and Milwaukee-based producer ‘Plaid Hawaii’, as well as a series of EPs containing remastered versions of tracks from ...
