Mary Handsome are 4 lads who’ve set out to create tunes that have equal parts catchiness and attitude. Forming in the latter half of 2014, they found themselves scrapping it out playing shows in their hometown of Brisbane. 2015 saw them release their first EP, with lead single ‘Numb’ proving to be the defining track, driving the band into the eyes and ears of new fans across Australia and the World. 2016 saw the band releasing new singles such as ’No Hot No More’ and ‘Mirrors & Sounds’, supporting some of Australia’s leading acts such as Kingswood and Harts. Single ‘Sillhouette’ in 2017 allowed Mary Handsome to show themselves in the light that had been pertinent in their live presence for years, with it’s punchy vocals and surf-inspired riffs. Mary Handsome decided to call the band quits in 2018, playing their last show at the popular Brisbane venue The Brightside, to a heart-warming crowd of endearing fans.
