Maverick's been in the works since highschool but the boys spent most of their school days playing ps2 and eating pizza before deciding to get serious in the summer after graduating. Best described as a few best mates, it’s this chemistry that enables the lads to lock in and give electric and unpredictable live performances that could go anywhere, all the while remaining one of Melbourne’s tightest up and coming bands around Stretching for something new Maverick’s sound is a growing musical lovechild of Psychedelia, Slacker Rock, Funk, Dancey shit and a dash of Reggae for good measure, anything the boys can get their hands on really, the band calls it the 'Golden Sound' but its best to <strong>let the music do the talking<strong>.
