Sydney singer songwriter Max C Bud embarked on his first solo project in 2018. Max’s musical journey into song- writing began much earlier. It was during his younger years spent on the idyllic NSW north coast embraced by dreamers, story tellers, musicians and creative folk alike that inspired Max to develop his own unique creative outlet. “Song-writing gives me the chance to share my story whilst also revealing certain vulnerabilities that many of us can relate to” says Max. After the success of his previous singles Temptress and Relevance. Max was ready to jump back in the studio. This time moving further away from the Indie acoustic Pop sound towards a larger band dynamic reminiscent of the classic folk rock sound made popular by bands such as Aussie favorites Paul Kelly, Boy and Bear as well as UK juggernauts Mumford and Sons.
