Bio

Max Degroot, a singer-songwriter from the east coast of Australia. Having moved around a lot over the years with music being a constant passion, he’s developed a genre all his own. Simple guitar as the base for strong vocals and foundational lyrical depth.

Having released his debut single 'Slow It Down, and followed it by a strong second 'Call My Name'. Max is heading back into the studio with producer Nick Franklin to get stuck into the creation of an EP. Stylistically moving away from the more traditional folk/indie/blues into a more upbeat blues/pop/funk/indie. Combining that with honest, powerful, and relatable lyricism.

Max has this beautiful chest voice that sounds effortless and easy. Here's to a strong first record and hopefully the first steps forward for a magic vocalist.
