A little soul, a little pop, a little blues, a little fun, somewhere in this down to earth, quirky teenager’s repertoire there is a song for everyone. Whether a large audience or small, young southwest singer/songwriter Maya Ixchell loves to share emotions and stories with her music, either through her own original songs or the much-loved covers that span music across six decades.
Maya has been performing around SW western australia for the last five years. She has been on the program at Nannup Music Festival for the past four years. She has also sung on many big stages, opening for Hoodoo Gurus at their beach concert in Bunbury in 2017, and also opening for Jon Stevens at VAT2 in 2018, and a Gene Pitney Tribute show prior to that. She has performed regularly at Relay for Life Bunbury and Busselton, and other charity events, Fringe Festival, Bunbury Show, Dardanup Bull and Barrel and many other local venues and events. Highlights include Maya being shortlisted for “The Voice” in 2016; and releasing her first single "Forever Ends Here" in 2018 prior to graduating high school. Maya welcomes any opportunity to meet new audiences, to sing and grow her music career.
