The McMenamins are an independent acoustic duo from Far North Queensland. The siblings have released 4 independent albums, received critical acclaim, played major festivals and have been touring since 2003 throughout Australia and the US. ThroughThe release of their debut album late 2005 received great reviews and gained national, & international radio play,and they toured supporting Missy Higgins, Ben Lee & Ray LaMontagne. Their 2nd album 'In this light' was released through MGM distribution November 2006. In 2007 They won a Q Song Award for their track 'How It Is' and toured Queensland supporting The Waifs. In 2010 The McMenamins released their 3rd album 'Long Time Gone' toured Australia and played major festivals including Woodford, Tamworth, Festival of the Sun, Nannup and Tablelands Folk. 2011 - 12 saw them tour the US twice with performances at Americana Music Fest in Nashville and Folk Alliance 2012 in Memphis. They have now won 2 Queensland Music Awards after 5 nominations ...
