It’s been a hell of a journey since Melody Feder burst on to the Australian Country Music Scene in 2009. With a string of performance and song writing awards, Melody rapidly won respect from many early adopters in the country music scene. Her 2010 debut EP "Dirt Roads & Diamonds" was released to strong reviews and picked up airplay with the lead track “RSVP” on some of Australia’s top country music radio shows. Melody went on to win the TSA/APRA New Songwriter Award in Tamworth this year for “RSVP” While this girl next door with cutting edge flair grew up on a diet of Linda Rondstat, Dolly Parton and Kasey Chambers, her palate has broadened with maturity through a love of artists that include Patty Griffin, Brooke Fraser, Alison Kraus and Michelle Branch.
