Bio

With their manic energy, catchy melodies and a penchant for dramatics, Adelaide pop-rockers Memory Castles want to put the fun in dysfunctional.

Combining punchy, angst driven guitars alongside upbeat and hard hitting drums, Memory Castles’ sound takes influence from mid 2000s pop punk whilst injecting their own modern flair and colourful personality.

Drawing on personal experiences with mental illness, heartbreak and a general desire for self betterment, Memory Castles songs are occupied with humour, self deprecation and an awkward honesty that attempts to portray life as both good, bad and funny.

So much energy! Fun, pumping and raw. I can only imagine the live show you guys put on!
Appreciate the lo-fi sounds, but would be interesting to hear with a bit more polish.

Intense throwback vibes to an era where the haircuts were as angular as the guitars. It's not quite the finished article but the energy is there and the signs encouraging for Memory Castles.
