MERCY-MERCY defy genre typing with their mash of blues/rock/funk and pop which they perform with a no holds barred attitude. Jim, Neil and John are no strangers to each other having played together for about 10 years in North Coast blues outfit The Blues Vein. For the following 5 years they had been exploring other genres and came back together in this project to re-explore their love of roots and blues with Lindy Lou Smith who showed up in their area 2 years ago, all the way from Adelaide, with a similar passion. MERCY-MERCY have vigorously worked to compile a list of standards and contemporary Rock/Blues tunes punctuated with their own original songs and have created a tough, sensitive and dynamic sound that is visceral in its intent and feel.
