With a penchant for a bit of outlaw country, Americana, early Aussie Punk and Indie sounds, I have been exploring songwriting since I began playing 30 years ago. Life hijacked my early songwriting dreams though and I found I had to play covers to survive. Now I realise I've been a fool and should have stuck with my gut. But is it all too little to late? With a new EP in early stages of release I was chuffed to receive a nomination in WAM's Song of the year for the second single "I'll be Gone". SO what's next for Mike Goodwin? I'll guess I'll just have to wait and see.
