Artist:Miracle Hat

Miracle Hat is a four-piece alterna-rock band from Adelaide in South Australia which was formed in late 2002 by school friends Peter, David and Ross after deciding that it would be a sure-fire way to burn through any remnants of money they had managed to scrape together. Nick joined the band in July 2007, filling the drum seat vacated by previous member, Matt, at the end of 2006. Miracle Hat is all about attempting to weave a powerful, emotive and, above all, honest sound and the goal is always for a sense of ‘song’ rather than just another catchy riff. In 2006, Miracle Hat recorded their debut EP at DST Productions. The disc took only a week to record and was done on a shoestring budget.
