Artist:Miranda

At the start of 2009, Jack Smart and Nick Healy started guitar jamming. Mainly playing covers of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Nirvana. Half way through the year they started writing some of their own riffs and decided to get a band together. Nathan Johnston who also attends Trafalgar High school played drums, and joined the band. Miranda Started off with only two guitarists and a drummer for several gigs. In 2010 Miranda entered the battle of the bands competition and came last. This made the band work harder then ever. Needing to add to their sound, Nick dropped guitar and picked up playing bass along with going to Paul Sykes crash course in singing. After a whole year of pub and cafe gigs, Miranda entered into the battle of the bands competition again. They won. check us out on youtube: mirandanugget
