Forging a path of their own, with a style of music which could be described as melodic progressive metal, MisM is an exciting new band that draws enthusiastic comparisons to early Opeth. Their music is a stunning balance of light and shade where brutal death growls and heavy riffs give way to clean vocals and intensely beautiful melodic musicianship. With epic tunes running to 10 minutes, the constant ebb and flow of changing time signatures, keys and complex melodies transport the listener on a journey through emotive and ultimately engaging sound-scapes.
