On a crisp September afternoon in 2006 three mates with similar music interests got together for a jam session. Armed with their instruments, two bottles of home made brew and a four track they simply pressed record. To there amazement they checked the recording the next day ,and it sounded CRAP but there was definitely a formula in the making. With lots of self belief,persistence and shite talking, Missfire began playing at a lot of good and atrocious venues. Missfire's dynamic raw sound gained some attention from local promoters allowing them to open for Aussie legends ‘The Angels‘, ‘Screaming Jets’, ‘Airbourne’, ‘Noiseworks’, ‘Taxiride‘ and 'Juke Kartel' which was an all round eye opening mad experience. Missfires latest interests include heading off interstate on a regular basis and playing to other audiences rather than there local fanbase.
