Tone once a drummer in a ska band "The Clean Men" traded the kit for an axe and formed a 3 piece grunge outfit 'Oysterbone' with Lien aka Chewy. Oysterbone were the unofficial winners of Grafton Unearthed with their smash hit 'Speed @ the NYEP' but never saw light of day due to 'technicalities' Following the demise of Oysterbone Tone moved to the North Coast at which stage he & Chewy began recording under the guise of 'chewtone'. The first track produced was 'Sparks' featuring guest guitarist Ryan Campbell. '20k from Byron Bay' and 'user 5' were later recorded and produced in Lennox Head on one or two of Chewy's North Coast surf safaris. 'chewtone'were renamed 'Mister Higgins' in August 2006 and expect to continue the Unearthed winning tradition of the Higgins clan!
