Having released its debut EP ‘Tricky Timing’ to a sold out crowd in December last year, alternative band Mister Wolf has its sights set on making a splash in the deep pool of Aussie music talent. Despite two lengthy injury-enforced breaks, the seven-piece began taking large strides to success in 2014, beginning with performances in the state’s far north-east. In the last year alone, the band’s energetic brand of gypsy jazz-inspired rock hit the airwaves on WA stations; 89.3, 94.5, 96.1 and 98.5FM. The group was also invited to play at some of the states most renowned music venues including the Astor, The Bakery, the Fly-By Night, The Rosemount and the Indi Bar. Armed with a growing repertoire and the pending release of a new EP and videoclip, Mister Wolf will soon be a name frequenting the lips of the nation’s music nerds.
