Artist:The Mochasins

We're an indie folk/punk band from Williamstown shwilliamstown. Reconnecting at a friend's 21st birthday party in December 2015, high-school pals Ethan Lane and Githmi Wettasinghe decided it'd be a fun idea to start a band together. The February after, the first era of The Mochasins began, with the joining of Andrew Barnett on guitar and Adriano Pruscino on drums. Over the course of the next two years, The Mochasins would refine their punk sound into something grungy and heavy, but simultaneously sweet and sad - like waking up on the first day of spring but you've still got Black Hole Sun set as your alarm tone. In late 2017, with the release of a collection of recordings they'd made since 2016, Andrew departed the band for a life in Canada (he came back to the country, but not the band). With Adriano's departure in early 2018, Ethan and Githmi set about some soul searching, and after about a month they returned to the scene with a warmer and more honest songwriting approach, with ...
