Mojo Jacket is made up of two musical brothers, Ben and Rick Fumi, on vocals, guitar and bass, and the talented Josh Blacka on drums. Influenced by and blending many bands, sounds and genres, especially Rock, Blues, Funk, Soul, Jazz and Folk music, they end up with an awesome sound, guaranteed to have you dancing and singing along to your favourites, and listening in fascination to some great original tracks. Ben And Rick grew up in a very musical household, with Dad a professional musician, most members of the extended family playing or teaching some instrument and plenty of instruments to play around on, however, it wasn’t until the age of 16 that Ben took up singing in a high school band, decided that he had found his passion and started teaching himself guitar. This quickly turned into an obsession, and Rick soon followed in the family footsteps, learning first a little violin, then deciding that Bass was more his style.
