Bio

I used to run around the country in a DJ duo called COMMAND Q. The other member was Loui, my best bud and we met while studying classical music at Uni. *insert generic how we met story*. We were classically trained DJ’s who played drums and ran around stage like idiots jumping up and down. And it was great! The whole Skrillex/Diplo movement. We were tied into it like fleas on a dog. Trap, dubstep, more “wubs” and “woops” than a helicopter. We released 2 EP’s and 16 singles and performed 5 AUST/NZ tours over 5 years. But sadly, the party scene was becoming lost on us. We felt tired and worn down by it, sensing a deeper need to express ourselves with greater emotional contrast. Maybe change is inevitable as an artist as you grow and change? All I know now is I want to express myself beyond throwing dabs in an underground dungeon with ravers. And I hope I can give that to you with Monsoon Moon.

Monsoon Moon pulling out plenty of stops on this one. It's got a SAFIA-style post apocalyptic pop energy to it.

it feels like being on a swing and you keep getting higher and higher and then you do the full loop-de-loop!

this one gets your toe tapping and puts a smile on your face. it bursts out of the speakers and i'm with dave that the chorus is a breeze.
