Bio

“Seriously, though. You need to be on this now” were the words of John Richards from KEXP Seattle, one of Americas most influential radio stations for new music. KEXP gave the band their stamp of approval in 2015 with the highly sought after placement of ‘Song Of The Day’ with the single ‘Smith Street Swap Meet’, leading to many US College Radio stations championing the band which saw their EP storming the CMJ Radio 200 Charts for 3 weeks.

Back home it has been the bands first single 'Susanne Monday', taken from their forthcoming debut album, which has been gaining them new fans around the country after an add to Triple J in 2016, rave reviews across the board and an ‘Artist of The Week’ feature on Triple J Unearthed. Talking about the track, Music Director Richard Kingsmill says “Love this. It’s got a stack of personality. Great indie rock with a decent dose of bravado – 4 Stars”.

On the live side of things, Morning Harvey have toured & shared the stage with the likes of The Dandy Warhols, Band Of Skulls, The Charlatans, Steve Malkmus, Royal Blood and played Groovin The Moo to kick off 2016.

Morning Harvey’s debut album is due for release September 2018.

Stoked to see the band with one of my all-time favourite live shows back. I hope exciting things happen for you this year! This one totally rips! I love the talking to yourself kinda moments. It's fun, I can't help but sing and dance along. I want this to NEVER wind down!

another podium finish for morning harvey. those blood transfusions in the team bus between releases are proving very fruitful.
