Bio
Crafted from long nights, excessive laughter, smoke and drink of different kinds, and a certain love that can only be found within that of a family, Melbourne's Mosé + The FMLY, are finally set to release their debut EP. Alongside countless live shows over the last 4 years, touring and supporting some of the greatest such as Souls of Mischief, Naughty By Nature, Bad Bad Not Good, David Dallas, @peace - the FMLY have finally put pen to paper and taken their efforts into the studio to release their first offerings.
Mosé + The FMLY's combination of big beats and bass, precise samples, infectious synths and master flows, pay salute to their extensive range of influences yet allow for them to create something natural and unheard before. The 90s RD affiliates are known around Melbourne's traps for their unique sound of hip-hop, undefeated stand on social issues and their collaborative spirit.
The FMLY's live aspect has long been the cornerstone of their efforts, playing close to 300+ shows in the last 4 years, across Australia and even a run to the U.S. Most recently having played a string of festival slots such as Strawberry Fields, Beyond the Valley, By The Meadow and Marmalade Skies - the FMLY's live efforts have come unchallenged, pitting them at the top of their game.
'Slow Drip', Mosé + The FMLY's debut EP, combines the syrupy synth sound with crisp beats and enthralling bass lines. Woven together with master engineers and entirely self-written and produced, it enunciates the FMLY's presence, whilst also shedding some light as to why it has taken so long for them to release music. The EP also sees fitting collaborations with dons Jace XL (Hiatus Kaiyote), N'fa Jones and Cazeaux O.S.L.O. (Man Made Mountain, So.Crates).
'Slow Drip' is just the first step in what is building to be a stellar journey for Mosé + The FMLY.
