Motel Marys are an eclectic 5 piece band of best friends from Boorloo, Perth, creating lush alt-indie funk. Made up of multi-instrumentalists Liam Demb, Dellen Van Ryt, Chloe Chrisohoidis, Charles Lim, and Tobias Bostelman, the project's sound evolution and deep experimental work has made them one of Perth's hottest and heavily anticipated bands. Their deep swirly pool of influences from French funk L'imperatrice & pop angels like Djo and MenITrust, to alternative moods from Genesis Owusu and Radiohead has driven them in ambition and inspiration sonically.
