The Mother Gurus, alternative psychedelic punk pop rock hailing from Melbourne City. The band has been playing consistently throughout Melbourne for the past three or so years, performing at some of the city's most well renowned music venues and clubs. With driving, heavenly distorted guitars, an unrelenting rhythm section and accompanied by soaring vocal harmonies, their sound has been described as a blend of the early 90's alternative sound, intertwined with a sense of a 60's psychedelic pop mentality.
