After 2 years of line up changes and crazy shows (with the likes of Justin Townes Earl, Sticky Fingers, The Delta Riggs, The Walking Who, You Am I etc ) Newtown's The Mountains have become a Sydney live act staple. Hitting 2014 with the ground running securing lead guitarist Adam Della Grotta and playing with You Am I on new years day. The bands feet is certainly now set. With 3 singles about to drop in May 2014 the boys have been busy playing consistent shows and a residency across Sydney during March. From this time the band has managed to create a sound close too psychedelic surf with a dirty shot of alt country. A sound where everyone is invited too zen to the guitars or stomp their heels till it hurts. With East coast 'Amends' Tour taking place in May 2014 , The Mountains are a live experience of 70s surf country you do NOT want to be missing.
