Bio

‘Mum Thinks Blue’ are a fresh funky 6-piece band from Adelaide who have their own original, flavourful groovy sound. The band are committed to serving the local music scene with their own wholesome sound.

The dynamics between the band’s compelling vocals, funky guitars, ripping basslines, steady drums, rhythmic keys and tasteful saxophone melodies have directly translated into producing songs that fit both a laid-back Sunday afternoon as well as a funky live show.

In the few months they’ve been together, they have rocked shows at the Golden Wattle and Adelaide’s favourite Lion Arts Factory and have plans to get up on stage in front of many more in the coming months.

Their latest single, ‘Sneaky’, a beautifully eerie funk track, showcases their musical chemistry as they masterfully bring together their instruments into a smooth easy-listening tune that will have you shamelessly boogying.
Their music can be found on all music platforms so treat your ears to their catchy music.

This is only the beginning of 'Mum Thinks Blue' but with their burning passion for music and flare for creativity, let their music spice up your day and bring out the groove in you.

what a bouncy, cute one that's giving me a bit of san cisco flavours with some jazzy tinges thrown in too.
