Bio

Mugisha Mangwa A.K.A MUMBALA, the 18 year old Artist from brisbane, Australia. Mugisha first dipped his toes into music by first messing around in Garageband which snowballed into an addiction of making beats from the crack of dawn to late at night. This naturally progressed to him falling in ove with the process of mixing and mastering songs which he woulld practice with songs that he made with his $30 ebay Microphone. This lead gradually lead to him finding help from friends in the realm of producing to make his debut song "Race car". The wave of melodic rap music inspired him to make this song which it can be seen with artist such as juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi rap was moving from its roots of being traditionial agressive to having a melodic flavour which gives much more emotion to shine thorugh on a track. Mugisha is also inspired by the fact that respectfully the melodic sound is very small in brisbane with TheCreedTheKid the spearhead of this movement but he also is enthusiastic of being on the front line of the charge but without being put in a box allowing himself venture of to experiment with other sounds

Return of the king! He's back with another one after impressing us a whole bunch with Loner Boy. Where Loner Boy was on more of a Jean Dawson tip, this has more of that soundcloud / internet rap energy to it with a balladier underpinning. Real nice.

this is such a clever, dreamy first upload. in such a short amount of time, you casually step from hip hop to bedroom pop, with that dynamic vocal of yours tying it all together. this one's finding you fans fast and for good reason, MUMBALA!
