From a small pocket in the corner of Sydney, cometh Mung. With infectious energy, funky riffs and dance-able beats, their unique brand of party influenced rock will force you to, as they say, get “up, and down and all around.” If they dont make you want to dance, then it is because you dont know how to. Born in early 2009, four men combined their musical powers to create Mung, a band forming over a mutual love of chinese food and tri tones. Just under 2 years later, and after winning or placing in several band comps around Sydney, the band won several studio sessions and recorded their debut EP ‘Dark Disco Love Funk’ at Silversun Studios, and mastered it at Sony. After introducing management and media support to their team, a video was then spawned from the their fiery Mung energies, for the EP’s first single ‘Organ Dance’.
