Artist:Mutual Aid

Mutual Aid is a one man doom/sludge project from Queensland, Australia. The main creative force behind the project is Peter Thrupp, formerly the bass player for thrash/punk band Sodomy Squad, as well as bassist/vocalist for rock/punk outfit CrocRat ZebraPig. Discontent with the usual escapism found in doom metal, Mutual Aid seeks to bring a political awareness to this style of heavy music. Focusing on themes surrounding the failures of capitalism and modern society, Mutual Aid seeks to create a soundtrack for our dystopian present.
