Bio

Often described as the hotel buffet table of indie bands, My Giddy Aunt initially gives off notes of dreamy indie pop/folk. Upon further inspection however, it reveals itself to be a delicate baguette made of sugary horn arrangements, perfectly marinated melodies and fresh tomato.
Contains 100% of your recommended daily intake of good vibes.

My Giddy Aunt were formed in 2021 in Melbourne, Australia by musicians Rory Vagg and Luke Perry. Combining their shared adoration for arranging, awkward humour and anything alternative pop, the duo occupy a niche you never knew you needed, but one you can’t live without. If you've ever wished you could listen to Phoebe Bridgers, Matt Corby and Sufjan Stevens at the same time, then this is the act for you! Currently our boys are gigging around Melbourne as either a duo or in their seven-piece live band.

The Melbourne outfit have entranced audiences most recently with the release of their debut single ‘All Things Come In Time’, a dreamy synthesis of indie rock and chamber pop and has been described by people they know as ‘vibey,' ‘really good,’ and ‘never going to come out.'
