MYRINGA is a newly formed alternative funk/rock band based in Castlemaine, Victoria. Songwriter Lazare Agneskis (formerly of San Lazaro, Dan Sultan) in collaboration with vocalist/MC Julian Cleary have created a unique raw sound, mixing funky distorted guitar riffs, melodious vocals and purposive rapping over a solid rhythm section. The emotive lyrics cover a range of meaningful subjects including socio-political issues, historical moments, and a father confiding in his child.
