Naik’s debut album ‘In The Shadow of Thunder Mountain’ has received critical acclaim coming in at #5 in RTRFM music manager Dave Cutbush’s top 10 albums of 2009, and at #7 in the top 10 of Drum Media’s Jo Lettenmaier.

Naik’s background as a filmmaker also informs his music. Naik (or Sam Price as he’s otherwise known) produced the 2009 WAMi award winning music video for Downsyde's Fortune and Fame. He has also produced videos for the likes of Birds of Tokyo and Antistatic and directed videos for Eleventh He Reaches London and Diplo's Mad Decent label for Kito & Reija Lee.

Naik was one of the first artists to be a part of the now defunct Paper Chain label, along with artists like Ta-ku, Kit Pop, and Zeke. And is currently a part of The Community collective with artists such as Mathas, Diger Rokwell and Ylem.

Naik also released a collection of beats, jams and collabs called 'Mutating Machines' in May 2013. The tracks 'Memory Lane feat. Will Stoker' and 'Anatolia' from it are also available to listen to on this page.

Naik is currently gearing up to release his new 7" Solar temples along with the debut of his 3D projection mapping show "Stellations"
It all goes down at the bakery on Saturday June 21.
