Nathan May born in Darwin NT, descends from the Arabana (SA), Yawuru (WA) and Marridjabin (NT) clans. Nathan is a emerging artist who is very passionate about music and the music industry. He has been performing in Adelaide for over 4 years, gaining experience to pursue a music career. Nathan has completed a Advanced Diploma in Aboriginal studies in music. Recently Nathan was funded to put out a 5 track EP of his own original music called Reflections, which is out now on iTunes. The EP is an reflection of his life and events that have happened in the last few years of his journey. Nathan’s has performed for a range of audience’s and festival’s such as Semaphore Music Festival, Ruby Awards Night and The Adelaide Fringe Festival. In 2014 Nathan was documented for an NITV series called Unearthed. Nathan has worked alongside some of Adelaide’s best Aboriginal vocalist, Ellie Lovegrove XFactor 2013 Top 8, Zacchariaha Fielding (ZK) from the Voice 2014 and Simi Vauta TheVoice 2015 finalist. Nathan has caught the attention of well known Country Artist Troy Casser-Daley and first Aboriginal Golden Guitar winner Col Hardy, who both have been a mentor’s to Nathan for the last few months. Nathan is currently studying at the University of Adelaide doing a bachelor of music with the Elder Conservatorium and is hoping to get his degree and keep pushing his music career further.
