Bio

Within sixth months of their debut short play album Chance, Neon Tetra had achieved more radio success with second EP Dos and a suite of guest supports for Miami Horror, The Belligerents, Ecca Vandal and APES in early 2017.

'They take cues from the likes of New Order, Tame Impala, Pink Floyd and David Bowie, the result is a combination of psychedelic rock, pop and new wave...' - The Music [Dec '16]

Their latest release ‘Reflections’ draws on the classically trained skills of composer and synth genius, Daniel Clohesy. His time at the Sydney Conservatorium of Jazz shines through in vibrant Motown feels. The band have evolved rapidly, respectfully shuffling past their driving influences to usher in a new and refined sonic presence. This release is coupled by another video from producer/director Mickey Mason (Corduroy Productions). ‘Reflections’ is undoubtedly Neon Tetra’s finest accomplishment to date, telling of a band instinctively driven to experiment and improve their art. ~

This is the best I've heard from this band. They've done a great job finding the balance in their influences.

What a special way to introduce yourselves to this song. Some psych, full-sounding combinations of lulling, dream-like sound. It dragged me in such a powerful way and I'd love to see what this does to others.
