New Band are a strollwave ensemble consisting of Simon Fazio (YIS, Cuddleman), Perrin Date (Goodnight Tiger, Bayou) and Reahan Martin (Pink Harvest). They formed in January 2017 and have since been accused of lifting heavily from Jonathan Richman, Stephen Malkmus and The Velvet Underground. Probably The Ocean Party too, to be honest.
