New Lovers draw from a diverse array of artists, from the dark guitar poetry of Darkside, to the esoteric four to the floor of LCD Sound System and the arpeggiated minimalism of Steve Reich, the New Lovers music is both forward looking but also inspired by artists that have challenged the three and half minute pop tradition.
