Bio

The New Pollution are a four piece, neo-psychedelic outfit, who formed in Perth and are currently based in Melbourne, Australia. The band consists of members: Samuel Sullivan, Jessica Jaegar, James Baldwin and Jacob Martin.

Since their formation in 2011, The New Pollution have shared their palpitating wall of sound, caustic guitar solos, unremitting rhythms, celestial harmonies and atmospheric explorations across stages in both their hometown of Perth, as well as their new home, Melbourne (since arriving in 2013). They have gone on to support such bands as: The Dandy Warhols, Pond and Big Scary.

The New Pollution will finally, officially release their debut album 'Solar Power' at The Tote on 24/01/2015. The album has been produced by Jeremy Sherrer in Portland (The Dandy Warhols and The Gossip) and mastered by Paul Maybury in Melbourne (King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard). The album will also feature Courtney Taylor-Taylor from The Dandy Warhols playing drums on the track "Rabbit and the Fox".

With a second album in the works, The New Pollution expect its release around June 2015.

Shimmering at the core of this song is a splendid kaleidoscopic heart. Both tracks (Mojo Rising too) are tops, can't wait to hear more!
