Bio

From the eager 7-year-old who picked up a guitar and strummed his first chords with tiny fingers, to a rock & roll powered, amp-blowing teenager who believed volume was god, Nigel’s music has come of age. Whether driven by a beautiful melody, a poignant moment or memorable scene, the last few years have seen his personal song-writing and musical proficiency come together to produce the critically acclaimed album 'Pale Yellow Moon'. “Every note seems right, the vocal inflection hits the mark” (Lee Howard, The Herald Sun). You can catch him as a duo accompanied by Anita Quayle on cello or with his talented band featuring Michael Meagher (also Kate Ceberano band) and Pat Moore (also Prayerbabies). Led by Nigel’s distinctive vocal the band traverse emotive landscapes with accomplished musicianship producing a captivating and unforgettable live performance.

'Three Days' is a beautiful melancholy love song. The husky vocals and warm guitar compliment the shape of the longing in the song. -Zerafina
