NIKKI NICHOLLS “BRIDESMAID” “BRIDESMAID” is Nikki’s first independent original album. She says, “Throughout my career, I have toured with fabulous bands and artists as a backing vocalist but have always felt a little bit like a bridesmaid, so I thought that would be the title of my album.” Nikki has been singing professionally since she was a child when she was performing weekly in Brian and the Juniors. Early teens singing in VENUES all over Australia and Indonesia, sharing dressing rooms with strippers and stealing the left over wiener schnitzels for breakfast in dilapidated hotel rooms “One day I got a call to be JOHN FARNHAM’s backing vocalist in the newly formed JOHN FARNHAM ‘rock’ band. I was ecstatic! Toured with John for a few years and recorded the ‘WHISPERING JACK’ album with him. The highlight was touring with STEVIE WONDER.
