About

For a band that have already won the flattery/heart of Cara Delevingne, built a local cult following with supports of the Cribs, Sticky Fingers, & Wolfmother (to name a few), and even had their song in a Ford Ranger TV commercial, you’d think The Ninjas would be content to hang up the gloves. Fortunately though, the world’s sneakiest band are not yet satisfied, and as such they have returned with their new single “Morphine”, set for release on April 15. The song was hand picked by renowned producer Steve Schram, and recorded as part of winning the seed fund’s “It’s all about the song” grant, awarded to them late last year. Front man Josh Stewart describes the first single off their forthcoming sophomore EP as “a slow burning ode to hillbilly heroin”, that’s guaranteed to have you singing along by the song’s end, - a fact that’s echoed by the opinions of Australia’s premier tastemakers, who have these guys tipped to be one of the countries next big exports just waiting to be unearthed.
