Bio

The music of this Sydney-based trio involves minimal expanses, unexpected stutters and emotive resonances. Dead Arm, the single from their upcoming 7", is a deceptively simple sea-song with haunting depth. In the four years of their collaboration, No Art have released Exotica, a debut EP produced by Patrick Santamaria (Lost Valentinos) which draws on ritual and symbolic objects to explore unknown territories, and Snaky Looking, a limited edition cassette featuring a three-part piece composed for ABC Radio National's Quiet Space. They have played numerous terrains, from the lush surrounds of New Zealand's Camp A Low Hum to the steel city streets of Newcastle's Sound Summit. Their sounds have inspired both an intrigued dedication and bewildered rejections. So far the weight is on the former.

This is some very tasty frozen doom-gaze. Hopefully that made up genre's not too unflattering but the point is that No Art are still in a class of their own.

Brooding, beautiful, dreamy soundscape. My heart aches during that guitar solo.

The world outside has gone to shit. This song has given me faith today and I'm hittin' repeat.
