Bio
After delighting listeners with their standout singles ‘Superficial Light’ and ‘Pattern’ earlier this year, NSW North Coast-based electronic duo Nocturnal Tapes have returned with a darker and more brooding cut titled ‘Pieces’ – Recorded and produced by the group themselves.
‘Pieces’ sees Nocturnal Tapes significantly progress by introducing Tech-house influences, drawing inspiration from Caribou, The Presets and LCD Soundsystem. Whilst the track shines a different light on the band’s creative depth, the pop sensibilities and smart approach to songwriting still remain intact.
Previous single ‘Pattern’ received outstanding reviews and support from worldwide tastemakers including Indie Shuffle, Pilerats, triple j, Rolling Stone, MTV, Rage and Spotify via their NMF and Weekend Buzz play lists.

Great to hear from you guys again! Bit more of a RUFUS/Cut Copy feel here which I love. Would raise a tune rag to this.
