Bio

Hailing from Albury, NSW and now based in Melbourne, The Northern Folk are a collective of eleven musical ambitionists spreading their unique brand of folk/pop/stomp/rock into the roots of small towns and big cities alike. Soaring saxes, roaring brass, and bashful bass frame the band's two lead vocals, with multi-layered harmonies and addictive percussion in tow. From intimate ballads to big-band boot stompers, The Northern Folk's big sound proves flexible both on stage and on record, and is continuing to earn them a following wherever they travel.

These guys (and gals) have progressed so much since the first time I saw them. Two words. Saxophone solo. Killed it. So groovy
