Bio

Nothing Really is a four-piece indie/alternative band from the inner north suburbs of Melbourne. Formed at the start of 2018 from singer Victoria Austin’s solo project “Blaire”, the group quickly amassed support slots for acts including Listener (USA), Radiator Hospital (USA), Lincoln le Fevre & the Insiders, Antonia & the Lazy Susans, Bec Stevens and Paradise Club.

Nothing Really takes influence from the relaxed ambience of artists like Soccer Mommy and Snail Mail while also hinting at the slightly emo tinged alternative sounds of Tigers Jaw, where emotive song writing is at the forefront of their work.

Heirloom is the band’s debut single – a song about self reflection, admitting hard truths and vowing to do better by yourself - rounding out what has been an exciting 2018.

Plenty of feeling in these perfectly partnered guitars and vocals amidst total heart on the sleeve songwriting

Can't. Stop. Listening. A track that pulls you in and doesn't let go.
